Deans

A Dean is appointed for each year level of the school. They are responsible for student welfare, pastoral care and discipline of the year level.

If parents have queries or concerns they should contact the Dean in the first instance.

The year level Dean holds a weekly assembly, for Yr 7 & 8 this is held bi-weekly. This is a time to recognise achievements and successes as well as an information sharing time.

When do I need to see the Dean?

If you are going overseas your Dean and Principal will organise permission for your absence. 
If you are sick for a long time and need to have work sent home for you. 
If you need help with any aspect of school life. 
If you are worried about something and need help to resolve the situation.
If you are struggling with your school work.
If you have been sick and need an extension on an NCEA assignment.
If you have a note from home and need to leave school during the day.
