In August, two Year 13 students; Amelie Paul and Rhiannon Williams were selected to attend a day held by the founders of "On Being Bold". The day was led by a collective of influential women such as Dame Therese Walsh, Royal Reed and Jolie Hodson who have established themselves as prominent business leaders despite facing adverse stages throughout their career and lives.

Year 13 students across Auckland were brought together to hear the life stories of women leaders to be inspired, encouraged and empowered with the words of wisdom they had to share. The day concluded at Government house in which the students were lucky enough to meet and share afternoon tea with the Governor General of New Zealand Dame Patsy Reddy.
