Juliette Hauter
Congratulations to Juliette Hauter (right), recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Young Enterprise Awards at the Auckland Region Awards.

This is a superb acknowledgement of all Juliette has achieved this year as a Year 12 Business Studies student. As CEO of BECO, she led her team in one of the most challenging product developments seen at St Mary’s College. BECO did not outsource the production of their solar-powered charger, instead researching and networking to ensure they produced a high-quality product. When their wooden prototype did not meet their standards, they continued until they found a 3D printer. This took time, and Juliette demonstrated skill and patience as she led her team to persevere through challenges, and most of all believe in their capability to be successful. Juliette is a humble and unassuming leader, with an eye for detail and opportunity, and not afraid to take risks. She is an entrepreneur of the future. Well Done Juliette on your success, we can't wait to see what 2019 brings.
