Our Pasifika Network group at St Mary's College aims to support the students and parents of Pacific Island heritage, staff and the wider community. To share culture through Pasifika events and Catholic faith our school offer, celebrate the achievements of past and present Pasifika pupils at SMC and promote appropriate and relevant participation and opportunities through 'Fono' (meeting/gathering) and 'talanoa' (conversations) for our school community, that align with the school values and beliefs.

This group will also work to foster and enhance the Va (relationships) with the school community, working together within a faith based and Mercy value approach to support our young women to be strong in their faith, abilities and cultural identity.

Meetings are open to the whole school community, with dates being advised in the school newsletter and updated on the website here shortly. A coordinating group has been established to facilitate actions moving forward.
